RECKLESS RP Rulebook
Community Conduct & RP Standard
This contains all rules that are to be followed by our Community Members at all times while being in the city. Our rules are crafted with High Quality Roleplay & The Player in mind.
These rules are a foundation for good Roleplay—not to limit your creativity, but to enhance it. If you have questions regarding any guidelines, feel free to contact staff via our Official Discord.
1. General Rules
Value Your Life (NVL)
Your character should act as if they value their life. Do not put yourself in situations where death is likely just because you can respawn. Treat dangerous situations with appropriate caution.
No Random Death Match (RDM)
Do not kill other players without a valid roleplay reason. All violence must be initiated through proper roleplay scenarios with prior interaction.
No Vehicle Death Match (VDM)
Do not use vehicles as weapons to kill or ram other players. Vehicles should be operated realistically and safely.
Metagaming
Using information your character wouldn't know in-game is strictly prohibited. This includes information gained from Discord, Twitch streams, or out-of-character conversations.
Powergaming
Forcing scenarios on other players or performing unrealistic actions (e.g., roleplaying impossible physics/feats) is not allowed. Give others a fair opportunity to respond in RP situations.
2. Communication Rules
In-Character (IC) vs Out-of-Character (OOC)
Keep IC and OOC separate at all times. Do not bring OOC personal issues into IC interactions or take IC actions personally.
Voice Chat
Stay in character while using proximity voice chat. Use appropriate text channels or Discord for OOC communication.
No Toxicity
Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, slurs, or excessive toxicity will result in immediate bans. Treat all players with respect.
Breaking Character
Avoid breaking character in public scenarios under any circumstance. If an issue arises during RP, complete the scene and resolve it through staff support afterward.
3. Roleplay Scenarios
New Life Rule (NLR)
After your character downs and respawns at the hospital, you must forget the immediate circumstances that led to your death. You cannot return to the same location or scenario for at least 15 minutes.
Robbery Cooldowns
After being involved in a major robbery or heist (as either robber or victim), you must respect server cooldown timer windows before participating in another heist.
Hostage Situations
Treat hostage situations with realism and care. Do not take fake/friend hostages, do not demand unreasonable terms, and ensure all scenarios have clear RP purpose.
Gang & Criminal Activity
All criminal activities must have proper roleplay initiation. Random acts of violence or gang wars without backstory/context are prohibited.
4. Law Enforcement & Emergency
Cop Baiting
Intentionally provoking police officers (e.g., doing donuts in front of a station) without an authentic roleplay motive is prohibited.
Police SOPs
Law enforcement officers must strictly follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Abuse of authority will result in administrative removal.
Corrupt Cops
Police or government corruption RP is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission from server administration.
EMS / Fire Services
Emergency services must prioritize saving lives above all. Refusing medical service without valid roleplay context is not permitted.
5. Server-Specific Rules
Exploits & Hacking
Using game exploits, third-party crosshairs, macros, hacks, or unauthorized software results in an instant permanent ban.
Character Names
Characters must use realistic, immersive full names. Celebrity names, joke names, or offensive aliases are strictly forbidden.
Server Restarts
Be mindful of scheduled server restarts. Do not initiate major crimes or robberies within 15 minutes of a scheduled restart.
Bug Reporting
Report any bugs or mechanical issues via Discord support tickets immediately. Exploiting known bugs for personal gain is bannable.
Staff Decisions
Staff decisions made during active issues are final. If you feel a decision was improper, submit an appeal via the official Discord ticket system.
6. Violation Consequences
Warning System
Minor infractions result in official warnings on your account log. Accumulating multiple warnings escalates directly to temporary or permanent bans.
Temporary Bans
Serious or repeated violations result in temporary bans ranging from 1 day up to 30 days depending on severity.
Permanent Bans
Extreme violations (hacking, toxicity, severe powergaming, repeated offenses) result in permanent removal from the community.
Appeals Process
Ban appeals can be formally submitted through the official Discord. Each case will be objectively reviewed by senior administration.
